Chicken & Waffles: from test markets to every U.S. location

The Chicken & Waffles Sandwich is making its first nationwide launch after a limited test in 2025 in markets including Baltimore, San Antonio, and parts of Texas. Strong customer response in those trials helped push the item to a full national rollout, the company said.

Both sandwich sizes share the same core build:

• Maple-flavored waffles that act as the bun
• A Chick-fil-A chicken filet (Original, Spicy, or Grilled)
• Three strips of applewood smoked bacon
• Honey butter spread

Hand-spun from the chain’s signature Icedream dessert with chocolate shortbread, graham cracker crumbles, marshmallow-flavored syrup, and marshmallow-flavored whipped topping.

S’mores Frosted Coffee

A blend of custom cold-brewed coffee, marshmallow-flavored syrup, and Icedream mixed with the same chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles — positioned as a caffeinated alternative to the milkshake.

Both beverages are available all day starting August 24 at participating locations.

The fall menu continues a yearlong celebration of Chick-fil-A’s heritage. Founded by S. Truett Cathy in 1946, the company is using 2026 to pair nostalgic comfort flavors with refreshed formats — earlier in the year that included permanent additions such as Frosted Sodas and Floats, Classic Cups, anniversary merchandise, and updated packaging.
